GRAND FINALS

The Thursday Mixed Grand Final saw Love Muffins V2 take on unlikely contenders 1:100 (pictured above). Despite failing to pick up a single point throughout the regular season, 1:100 saved their best ’til last with an exciting 9-6 win over their rivals to be crowned Champions – a brilliant effort. Straight off the couch won the third place playoff against Nankatsu FC, who surely will feel disappointed with their finish to the season after topping the regular season table.

Brisbane Central Futsal veterans Exeter Quickly were crowned Champions of our inaugural season of Elite Premier Futsal, after defeating STGW 8-4 in the Grand Final. Despite finishing the regular season as premiers, STGW were no match for Exeter Quickly, who finished the season in unstoppable form. The new summer season is already underway, with Saints the early front-runners with six points.

MIXED LEAGUES

SC FC are on top of the Futsal League 1 table after two rounds, followed by Our Mums and Dinamo who picked up opening round wins. Hawkies, Flat Feet United, Q G C and Celtic fc will all be searching for their first wins next week.

In Somerville’s Futsal League 2, early leaders Futsal Fetish are three points clear of second-placed You Blutey. NF Tractor Collective FC, last season’s Camp Hill Champions Show Me Da Mané and Horndogs are all on three points, with the league already shaping up to be highly-competitive.

Monday Mixed Div. 1 sees Prestige Worldwide hold a five-point advantage over GOLAZOS and Norfolk & Chance. Wombats occupy fourth despite only winning one from five.

As we approach the finals series in Monday Mixed Div. 2, UNTOUCHABLES have a five point cushion to Good Hard D in second. There’s a three-way battle for fourth place between Lads FC, Who is IN and Clube de Futebol dos Flamingos, with just three points separating the teams.

PADDINGTON PANSIES hold a seven-point advantage over KEMARI at the top of the Grill’d Tuesday Mixed Div. 1 table, with We are on FIRE third and Friend in Cheeses fourth. All teams will be looking to hit form with the finals right around the corner.

In Tuesday Mixed Div. 2, LOCO have continued their outstanding form and are sitting pretty at the top of the table on 33 points. GYPSIES are seven points back in second place, followed by Damaged Goods and Love Muffins. CHUDLEY CANNONS are in the unfortunate position of being pointless after 12 rounds.

All Gear No Idea have won 10 from 12 games and are comfortable leaders in Tuesday Mixed Div. 3 – six points clear of Quick Response in second place. A Bunch of Nerds follow only a point behind in third, with CNS FC trailing in fourth place by another 14 points. Mavericks Mixed are in last place with only one win for the season.

MEN’S LEAGUES

Rumando will play Dr Waters Redux in The Spaghetti House Wednesday Men’s Combined decider, in what promises to be an entertaining clash. Rumando finished the regular season with a brilliant 16-2 record, with Dr Waters Redux also performing strongly with 14 wins and just four losses. 9mm FC will take on Dad Bods FC in the bottom half Final.

In the new season of Thursday Men’s, Unathletico Madrid have started strongly with three wins from three. Go With The Flo and The Cartel have two wins apiece in second and third respectively, with fourth-placed NQ Fury picking up a win in their first game.

JUNIOR LEAGUES

We’re only a couple of weeks away from finals in our Junior competitions, with Inner City Strikers the favourites after a dominant season in West End under-10s. They occupy first place, with a resurgent Pears 12 points behind in second. West End United are assured of finals Futsal in third place. It’s a tight battle for fourth spot between Cobras and Indi Futsal Stars, with both teams on 11 points.

In Mansfield under-13s, first-placed Wildcats FC have continued their perfect form, winning all nine of their matches. Immortals in second have also showed their strength with a 7-1 record. Neymar Ninjas and West end Warriors complete the top four, with Inter my Van and The Panthers, fifth and sixth respectively.
